This is "Celebrate Clover".
You may remember this card from earlier in the week. I have kept the dies all together so when I die cut the clovers I was left with the negative of the set. I used that negative to do my stenciling for this card.
For colour I am using Distress Oxide inks, and I wanted to add blue to this card, so I picked the Salvaged Patina and for my green I picked Rustic Wilderness. In doing the stencil work, I brushed on the Rustic Wilderness first, then went over it with the Salvaged Patina.
I love the mystic look from the Oxides. I finshed up by adding the Salvaged Patina in areas around the edges of the card.
I wanted to use this celebrate die with the shadow. I brushed on the Rustic Wilderness oxide ink to the shadow. I then die cut 3 of the wording "celebrate" and glued them together using Nuvo adhesive.
Once the glue was dry I brushed on the Salvaged Patina oxide inks, then glued the piece to the shadow die, which I then glued to the card front. For a bit of sparkle I added gold crystal gems.
For the inside of the card I also used the stencil I used on the front of the card. In doing so I decided to change it up and use the Rustic Wilderness as the top colour, for the 3 larger clovers and do the balance the same way I did the clovers on the front of the card.
I die cut the piece of card and did the stencil work. I then added the Salvaged Patina around the edges of the die cut, as I did on the front of the card.
To finish up I stamped the sentiment using VersaFine Clair ink.
I gave the card to a friend of mine, and she loved it. I think I do too.
