Scrap'n Stamp Embossing Magic Hop

Let me introduce "Bunnie Hop".

Welcome all to the Scrap'n Stamp Embossing Magic Hop.
Today the design team are using Hampton Art Embossing Powders, which come in the cutest set of 2 colours each of 8 colours.

We have designers that you will find links to below, who posted in blogs, Instagram and YouTube. Just follow the links to reach all of the designers and be sure to comment for your chance to win a $50.00 gift certificate from the Scrap'n Stamp store. Good luck to you all.

For my card I decided I wanted to use the powders in a background technique, hence I did not start with the powders.
I started my card ny colouring the bunnies and flowers using Copic markers. On the bunnies scut I coloured using a white Posca pen. I then die cut the "happy easter" sentiment and coloured it in the same colours that the background was in.

Once I finished that I did not like it, so I went over the colours using my blue Copic, which produced the colours as you see them.
I then cut everything out, including my framing, which has 4 pieces glued together and coloured with Y2 Copic, to match the background.

I did the background using a stencil along with the Hampton Art embossing powders in 4 different colours.
Using Neenah cardstock I put down the stencil and taped it in place. I then pressed all over the stencil to cover the background embossing ink. I did not use my powder tool as I wanted the powder to have some movement.

I was pleased when I added the powders that I did not waste very much at all, which of course is a good thing. I then blew the powders letting the bits sprinkle across the cardstock, then using my heat gun embossed the powders.
Once everything was done, I attached the embossed card to my card base using foam tape. I then cut the framing piece to fit my card, which is a mini slimline. The cut is covered by flowers falling out of the flower bed.

I then styled everything, attaching the bunnies in place using foam squares, then glued the flowers and the sentiment in place using Nuvo adhesive.

I think it shows how much fun I had doing this card. I hope you enjoy it as well, and thank you for your visit. Up next on the hop is Deepa.
