Introducing "Pretty Bird".
A friend gave me this stamp set by Couture Creations as she knows I love birds. Couture Creations are an Australian Company, so I looked up colourful birds in Australia and found the Painted Bunting birds, which are beautiful coloured birds.
It is the Painted Bunting that I used to colour this bird using Copic markers in several colours, which are as follows:
leaves: YG06, YG25, YG67;
bird: R27, R37 with V17 and TG06, YG09;
branch: E37, E29
Once I was finished with the colouring I fussy cut the bird.
For my background I embossed a piece of Neenah cardstock using the Fanciful Flowers embossing folder, which I coloured using distress oxide inks in Twisted Citron, Mowed Lawn and Salvaged Patina.
I attached the embossed background to my card base using Scorpal tape, then attached the bird using foam tape. The Scorpal tape that I have is 1/4 inch, so I went around the embossed piece twice.
I then attached the bird using foam tape.
I am sure you will all know how much I enjoyed making this card with this darling image.
