This is "Sparkle".
I did this card for the Inspiration Challenge at Splitcoaststampers.com. Today Amy is our hostess and she has picked Lady Yard Pinterest boards for our site today.
My inspiration came from these resin birds.
For my card today I am using Tim Holtz Papercut Chicks. I die cut the pieces and coloured using Copic Markers. Once all the pieces were coloured I glued the pieces together using Nuvo Adhesive.
Using A Colorful Life stencil and distress oxide inks in Tumbled Glass and Twisted Citron I stenciled the front of my card base.
Using the same stencil I did a piece for the inside of my card as well.
Using foam tape I attached the pieces to my card front. I then finished by stamping the Sparkle sentiment using VersaFine Clair ink in Glamorous.
Again, I had great fun making this card. I don't usually have a plan when I am putting them together, but certainly the inspiration piece influenced this card.
Following the Affiliate links for the above card I have shared two other cards that I did today.
I also made the two cards that followed for a customer who wanted the cards for a baby birthday. Again, I had great fun, and thought I would share them with you. They are both digital images and coloured with Copic markers. The backgrounds are done using distress oxide inks.
