Let me introduce "Buzz".
I mentioned yesterday that I would share another card with you today where I had used the Sakura Stardust pens, and this is it. I so wish the sparkle would show up better.
For the bees, in my mini Misti I first stamped using VersaFine Clair ink in Nocturne. I used the blue and yellow pens. I also covered the "Buzz" word using the blue pen.
Using my Gemini Jr. I die cut the bees using the coordinating dies.
I wanted a bright baackground to show off the bees so I decided on a somewhat floral stencil from A Colorful Life Designs.
Using distress oxide inks in Squeezed Lemonade and Salvage Patina I brushed n the inks in a circular motion, starting with the squeezed lemonade in the middle, then adding in the Salvaged Patina over the Squeezed Lemonade fading out on the white card.
Using foam squares I attached the bees to the stenciled background. I then die cut the "BUZZ" three (3) times, gluing the pieces together, and colouring the top layer with the Sakura blue pen, as I mentioned.
I then glued the sentiment to the card using Nuvo Adhesive.
The card is so cute, I really wish the sparkle showed more.
Thanks so much for joining me today. Following are Affiliate links for the products I used for this card at no extra cost to you.
