This is "Pretty Kitty".
She is from a fun set by Creative Expressions called Pretty Kitties. There are 4 other cat stamps as well as a small flower stamp and sentiments included in the set. I could not resist the fur collar on this one.
This card is done for the Inspiration Challenge at Splitcoaststampers.com, where we are visiting a site called WildLife Wonders. I used their Store site for my inspiration, found here.
Clearly I did not keep to the inspiration piece, but I was inpsired by it. There are hints of the brown, but it was the flower colours that caught my eye. The shades of pinks and the purple I took from the pillow.
I used Copic markers to colour the cat as follows:
E11, E35 on the cat; R21, R30, R32, R43 on cats tail and fur collar; RV04, RV25 on the hat; and 100 on the nose.
The background of flowers is done using distress oxide in Wilted Violet, then Shaded Lilac.
The sentiment is stamped using my mini Misti and VersaFine Clair ink in Fantasia.
Once I was done with all the colouring I fussy cut the cat out and attached her to the card base using foam tape. I then attached a scattering of Studio Katia gems to finish my card.
This is such a fun stamp to colour, and the rest of the images are just as cute. I will be colouring them soon no doubt.
I hope you have enjoyed this card today and thank you for your visit.
