Introducing "Life is a Beach".
It is Friday which means it is time to post my card for the Inspiration Challenge this week. We are visiting Brighton.com, which is full of wonderful inspiration, and I found this wallet and was inspired.
I knew I had the stamps and dies that I could use, so I was happy to start this card.
I first did the stenciling on the front panel and inside the card using A Colorful Life Design stencils in Big Splash and Nautilus and distress oxide inks in blueprint sketch with worn lipstick.
When I finished the inking I did some water splattering along with white watercolour splattering then once dry I attached the 3.75 x 5 inch panel to the front of my card base using foam tape.
Using my Gemini Jr. I die cut the shells using Neenah cardstock and coloured using the distress oxide inks again. I then added splatters of water and white watercolour before attaching styling and attaching to the card using foam squares.
You can see the inside slightly, which is the Nautilus stencil by A Colorful Life Designs, which I mentioned above, done on a separate panel of card with the blueprint sketch and worn lipstick distress oxide inks.
Once I was done with the colour, I stamped the sentiment using Memento Ink in Tuxedo Black.
That completes my card for today. I am happy with the results, and I hope you have enjoyed this card as well.
