Love and Sunshine Tag

 

This is "Love and Sunshine".

I made this for Scrap'n Stamp's Random Act of Cardness events, day 10, which on the calendar says Floral, but I had to change it up a bit to Stars and Hearts. There was not enough room for the flowers after all. lol

For this tag I am using Honey Bee's Rainbow Dreams Die set, along with the coordinating stamp set. To make my rainbow I used the heart die to trace the lines and fussy cut. My Rainboww Builder is still in transit.

I then die cut a total of 8 clouds, using 2 clouds for each rainbow end. With the stamp set I stamped the hearts, then added in the upside down piece of the heart.

I sponged on the colour to the rainbow and clouds using distress oxide ink in Worn Lipstick then glued everything together with Nuvo adhesive. 

In my mini Misti I stamped the sentiments, again using the Worn Lipstick distress oxide ink.

For a bit of dimension I die cut the stars, keeping them white and added them to the front using foam squares.

Using a needle I threaded the pink satin ribbon through the top of the rainbow to make my bow. It is notted on the inside with the two end pieces showing at the top of the rainbow. 

The ribbon adds texture to the piece, and adds more interest I think.
