This is "Violet Watercolour".
I did this painting for Watercolour Wednesday at Splitcoaststampers.com. Today we watched a video on light and a beautiful watercolour Violet.
I am using Schmincke, Daniel Smith and Winsor Newton colours for this piece, along with Arches cold press watercolour paper. The greens are Winsor Newton Sap Green, Daniels Smith Green Apatite Genuine and Schmincke Violet.
To finish up I splattered with Violet, Sap Green and White watercolours.
I am one who loves rich colour, so I found this a challenge to keep the lighter areas, and the video was helpful with the information she gave.
