This is "Life".
That little piggie is so precious, how could I resist, and the timing of this stamp set arriving could not have been better.
It has been some time since I have used my Atelier inks, so out they came for this card. I also received the mini slimline envelope maker, hence a bright and happy colour for it.
To start my card I am using sponge daubers to apply the inks along the open side of the slimline card, using a swiping motion. I did not want a rainbow yet again, but the colours are similar.
In my mini Misti I stamped the pieces I wanted a coloured with Copic markers. The colours I used are below. I then die cut the pieces, along with the Paper Rose arch and the Impression Obsession grasses.
Using the Atelier inks I sponged on the yellow and green colours to the die cut arch.
To put it all together I first glued in place the grasses to the card front, then using foam tape I added the Paper Rose arch on top of the grasses, then added the little piggie and the birds.
In my mini Misti I stamped the sentiment using Ranger Archival ink in Monarch Orange.
The colour caught in the glare is Y11. I will watch that next time!
Following is the inside of the card, done using a stencil from A Colorful Life Design called Even Pairing done in yellow and green, with the sentiment stamped using the Monarch Orange ink.
I had to stand it up to get a decent photo.
