This is "So Kind".
This is a card I made to send to my Vet's for all their kindness while my little CC has been sick. They truly went above and beyond in my humble opinion. Now we just wait and hope.
Like every veternarian office I suspect, their abode is very sterile and lacks any colour. You know, the brown walls, the beige walls, the dark tiles in reception. So being my typical self I decided on colour.
I also decided on a stencil, just in case you did not have enough yesterday! This stencil is also from A Colorful Life Design and I thought the gentle nature of the stencil was perfect for the colours.
For the front and inside of the card I cut Neenah cardstock to 4x5.25, then proceeded with my applications.
Using distress inks in Spiced Marmalade, Squeezed Lemonade, Twisted Citron, Picked Raspberry and in the centre Cracked Pistachio, and working from just outside the centre circle and outward I applied the inks with my brushes, overlapping from one colour to the next.
Once I was finished with the ink application I spritzed the stencil and placed it face down on a piece of cardstock, thereby transferring the pattern to the piece. I allowed it to dry, then attached it inside my card in the lower right side, offsetting from the one on the front.
In my mini Misti I stamped the sentiment, which is from Honey Bee Stamps, using VersaFine Clair ink in Nocturne. Again in my mini Misti on a separate piece of white cardstock I stamped the matching "kind" using VersaFine Clair ink in Glamorous then die cut using the coordinating die.
I attached the "kind" to the card using foam squares to add dimension.
