This is "Autumn Blessings".
A whimsy watercolour today for Watercolour Wednesday at Splitcoaststampers.com using the fabulous Daniel Smith Quinacridone Gold. It is such a luscious colour. Along with the Gold I have used Daniel Smith Burnt Sienna and Jane's Grey. You can find the video here.
I painted on Arches cold press watercolour paper and used 3 brushes in different sizes being size 4, 6, and 8.
I have always struggled with leaves, this one being no different. Getting the tip, sometimes I do, most times I don't. Clearly more practice is needed here.
These colours however are beautiful for a fall card, and the palette is minimal. For the circle I used a roll of green tape which was the perfect size. Hence I had used enough of the tape!
I waited for the paint to be dry before adding in the wisps of the Burnt Sienna and Jane's Grey.
To finish up I added splatters in the gold and sienna, then stamped the sentiment using VersaFine Clair ink in Pinecone.
