Meet "Bushel of Fun".
I am loving these images from Lawn Fawn which are so sweet for Fall, and such fun to colour. I used Copic to colour on Hammermill cardstock, which is a beautiful surface for Copics.
But first let me tell you about the card front, which is Neenah cardstock. Using distress oxide inks in Fired Brick, Squeezed Lemonade and Mowed Lawn and my brushes I applied the oxide inks starting with the mowed lawn and blended as I progressed to each colour.
I then sprayed the piece with a mixture of Perfect Pearls and water for all the shine you can see in the picture. While the card base was still damp I stamped the bottom line of the sentiment using Memento Ink in Tuxedo Black, which help to create the wavy look.
Moving on to the images, I stamped the ones I wanted to use with the Memento Ink Tuxedo Black on Hammermill cardstock and proceeded to colour with Copics, using:
YG09, YG05 for all the leaves, R29, R35 for the apples; E31, E33 for the Squirrels; E57, E37, YR24, E23 on the tree; R20 in Squirrels ear; E23 and E31 for basket and sign;and B97, BV34 for overalls.
Once the colouring was done I die cut the pieces using the coordinating dies, and stamped the "Have an" with the Memento Ink.
In my mini Misti I arranged all the stamps on my card front. Using the Memento Ink I then stamped the little sentiments of Crunch and Apple Picking and using Fired Brick distress ink stamped the Bushel of Fun on the post.
I also stamped the smiley face on the apple.
I then attached all the pieces to the card base using foam squares, and glue where necessary, i.e. the ladder.
Thank you for joining me today. I hope you have enjoyed this card as much as I did.
