Cool Yule

 

This is "Cool Yule".

And yes, I fell in love again! There is something about this Penquin that I just love, so it was a have to have!

I decided to keep my card Clean and Simple. I started with the background in the lower right corner of my Neenah card base and stamped using VersaMark embossing ink the snowflakes. I then added Lawn Fawn white embossing powder and heat set.

For colour I used Distress Oxide ink in Salty Ocean. Using my brush to apply, I tapped off several times before applying the ink to the card, to keep it lighter.

In my mini Misti I stamped the Penguin using Memento Ink in Tuxedo Black I then proceeded to colour using Copic markers. The colours I used follow:

Penguin  BV25, C5; Scarf and hat B21, B12, B23; Beak and Flippers YR15, YR04, YR16 and the Present is G02, G09, G19.

I then die cut the penguin and added large foam squares and a few smaller ones then adhered the Penguin to the card base.

In my mini Misti I then stamped the sentiment using the Memento Ink in the Tuxedo Black again.
