Let me introduce "Noel".
I wanted to do a different kind of Christmas card using unusual colours for this card. First, I die cut all the pieces I would need to comlete the card, including the die cut for the inside.
In my Misti I stamped the background Poinsettia stamp using VersaMark embossing ink then heat embossed using Brutus Monroe Gilded embossing powder.
I did the same with the Jumbo Bauble. On the background die cut I went around the edges using Delicata Golden Glitz ink pad.
On the Bauble I then blended on Abandoned Coral Oxide ink then added Crackling Campfire Oxide ink, giving me this beautiful colour.
Using foam tape I attached the die cut background to my Neenah cardbase. I then added the bauble, also using foam tape, and glued on the hanger, bows and fir bits.
For the sentiment I die cut three, one from the glitter cardstock and the other two from white Neenah cardstock. On the white Noel's I added the Delicata ink, then glued all together with the gold Noel on the top.
I added gems to the Bauble, one on the bow, and 3 other along the side of the ornament using Nuvo glue adhesive.
By the time I finished this card today, the sun had come around to my craft space, so I took the pictures with the full sun. Love it when that happens!
Thanks so much for dropping by today.
