This is "Christmas in Pink".
This card I did for the Inspiration Challenge at Splitcoaststampers.com today, where we visited a collection of outstanding cakes, curated by Cake Central. My inspiration came from this slice of cheesecake.
I changed the colours from red to pink as I wanted to use the falling snow stencil with the pink glitter paste. It is so pretty IRL.
I applied the paste to a Neenah piece of card cut to 5."x 3.75". To my Neenah card base I attached a piece of black onyz cardstock, then attached the stenciled snowfall piece.
Using alcohol ink cardstock I die cut the tree using the outline die from the Trinity Hot foil set. On my alcohol ink board I applied the inks, being Raspberry and Pearl Intrigue, going from one side to the other.
Once the piece was dry I die cut a piece of black foam using Spellbinders cutting foam and glued it to the back of the tree outline, then adhered both to the card.
On the inside of the card, I added a piece of white cardstock to the matted black piece and glued them in place. I then stamped the sentiment from the Woodware set using VersaFine Clair ink in Glamorous.
To finish the card front I added a slew of gems from Studio Katia.
That finishes my card for today. A little change by way of the alcohol ink, but I do like it.
