Meet "Hello Frosty Friend".
There has been so much snow I figured I might as well join in and have some fun with these cute snowmen from Photoplay.
For the background I changed up the colour picking instead one of my favourite distress oxide colours, Salvaged Patina. Using the smallest snowflakes from the stamp set, I stamped using VersaMark embossing ink then embossed using white embossing powder.
Using a large brush from Honey Bee stamps I applied the background colour, and once completed and dry I buffed over the snowflakes slightly.
In my mini Misti I then stamped the snowmen using Ranger Archival ink in Paradise Teal and proceeded to colour using Copic markers.
For the top snowman I coloured the rings of snow using B00, and the snowman I coloured using G00. On the lower snowman I did the opposite, using the G00 on the rings of snow and B00 on the snowman.
For the cheeks I used RV10 and the nose is YR07. The buttons on the top snowman have BG05 and the lower BG49.
To put the card together I glued the background to my Neenah cardbase using Art Glitter glue. I then attached the snowmen with foam squares.
The sentiment is stamped using VersaMark embossing ink and heat embossed with the white embossing powder by Lawn Fawn. I then brushed on the Salvaged Patina oxide ink and die cut the sentiment using a Penny Black die and pushed it in between the snowmen, gluing on both sides.
To finish the card I added a few Picket Fence embellishments.
Thanks so much for joining me today. Following are Affiliate links for the products I have used for this card, at no extra cost to you.
