This is "Merry Christmas".
While looking for colours to use for a alcohol ink Christmas card I happened upon Kristina Werner's card, which is beautiful needless to say.
Although our colours look the same, I did make different choices using Deception, Tranquil and Sublime along with blending solution.
This card is all about the sparkle, so I used the new to me Tim Holtz Silver Sparkle alcohol ink cardstock. It is such beautiful paper, I loved working with it and made a couple backgrounds while I had it out.
I set the alcohol ink piece aside to dry while I prepared the rest of the card.
Using the Catherine Pooler die I die cut the sentiment using the red mirror cardstock. It is a thin die, so I decided not to stack it, but I did die cut the vellum piece to layer behind the die cut.
The Silver Sparkle alchol cardstock is 5x7, which I cut in half to use, leaving two pieces 3.5x4.75 each. I cut the green glitter cardstock to 3.75x5.0 and attached it to my Neenah A2 card base.
Once the alchol piece was dry I attached it to the green glitter card using Art Glitter adhesive. I then attached the vellum using vellum tape in strategic spots so as to not show through the vellum. It is rare for the tape to ever show.
I used the vellum tape as I have found in the past that liquid adhesive can cause bleeding of the alcohol ink, which turns the vellum dark where used.
To finish up I glued the Merry Christmas to the vellum using the Art Glitter adhesive and added a few gems.
It is an easy card to make, making the background took the longest due to waiting for it to dry. And I now have another background done to use in the future.
