This is "Rainbow Tile".
As with most of Canada and the USA, we are under a mighty storm rolling through so many cities and towns across our Countries. I hope everyone stays home and remains safe.
Days like this when we have heavy overcast make it always difficult to capture a good photograph. While the colours on my card came out beautifully, the background sort of removed itself!
I did this card for the Inspiration Challenge at Splitcoaststampers.com where we visited a site called Puzzle Warehouse. I picked this pin for my inspiration.
Using this tile die I die, which is now discontined, I cut the pieces from Neenah cardstock, then applied the ink to each of the strips in rainbow order.
Once all the colouring was done I attached the strips to my card on an angle to mimic the inspiration piece, and glued them in place using Art Glitter glue.
The colours of distress inks I used are from top to bottom, Candied Apple, Carved Pumpkin, Mustard Seed, Mowed Lawn, Salty Ocean, Chipped Sapphire, and Wilted Violet.
Finishing up I added the sentiment from Tim Holtz Sticker Sentiments on foam dots, then added a scattering of gems.
Thank you for joining me today.
