This is "A Beautiful Life".
I loved making this card with some of my favourite colours. For me it is all about the colour choices, it can make or break a card I think.
To start this card I first did the back using Neenah 110lb cardstock and snooshed distress oxide inks along with A Colorful Life Design stencil.
To my work surface I applied Squeezed Lemonade and Worn Lipstick, then spritzed with water. Using Neenah cardstock cut to 5.25x4.0 inches I smooshed the cardstock into the ink, lifting fairly quickly so as not to saturate.
I let the piece dry, then added my stencil over the inked backgrounds and spritzed with a fair amount of water. Waiting a bit I then applied a paper towel to the stencil, drying up the water. I did the same with the inked panel for the inside of my card.
I then did the inside using distress oxide inks in Cracked Pistachio, Squeezed Lemonade, Spiced Marmalade and Worn Lipstick. For the inside I rolled the paper, applying the colours to the rolled area.
For the leaf in my mini Misti I stamped using Ranger Arhival ink in Vivid Chartreuse. I then die cut the leaf in my Gemini Jr. Using the coordinating stencil I applied the same colours as noted above, keeping a few soft and others bold in colour.
I waited for both of the pieces to dry. In my mini Misti I placed the inside card panel and stamped the sentiment using VersaFine Clair ink in Glamous, then attached inside the card.
For the front panel I adhered the piece to my card base. I then styled the leaf before attaching using foam squares. The sentiment was stamped using Ranger Ink in Vibrant Fuchsia, and die cut with the coordinating die, before being glued in place.
Using gems from Studio Katia I added several around the colour for some extra glam.
This is the inside of my card.
