This is "Squirrelly Birthday".
I have had this stamp since before Christmas and today I thought it was time to paint him up. I bought this stamp when I saw Lydia Fiedler paint it back in November 2022, another one of those could not resist.
To begin this card on Arches cold press watercolour paper I stamped the image using VersaFine Clair ink in Nocturne.
To watercolour I used Daniel Smith watercolours, using some Gothite and Burnt Umber, along with Sap Green and Green Gold and with hints of Sleeping Beauty mixed in.
He had to have some rosy cheeks in my humble opinion so I added a bit of Rose Madder, then watered down the Rose Madder for his ears.
Using Neenah cardstock for my card base I framed the piece using Gina K Designs cardstock, set on an angle and topped it off with the watercolour piece attached using foam tape.
For a bit of glam I added enamel dots in various colours picked from the image. In my mini Misti I stamped the sentiment using VersaFine Clair ink in Warm Breeze.
On the inside I cut a piece of the Gina K Design cardstock and stamped with a Happy Birthday stamp using the Warm Breeze ink again.
Isn't he a cutie - I think so.
