Watercolour Pine Branches

This is "Watercolour Pine Branches".

It is time for Watercolour Wednesday at Splitcoaststampers.com. Today we are painting this winter landscape, which can be found here.

I am using Arches cold press watercolour paper for my painting today, along with Daniel Smith watercolours.

Starting with the sky I applied Manganese Blue along with Green Gold then allowed the sky to dry as I worked on the fence which is done using Payne's Grey. The shadowing is done using Neutral.

For the snowcaps I mixed up Neutral along with Dr. P.H. Martin's Bleedproof White. I also did my splatters using the bleedproof white.

I then moved on to the pine needles using Perylene Green and Prussian Green.

I was suppose to add a Cardinal but I forgot - oops! I like it anyway, so that is okay.

I enjoyed doing this watercolour and I hope you have enjoyed it as well. Thank you for joining me today.
