Hoppy Easter

This is "Hoppy Easter".

Clearly I had a good time making this card for the Inspiration Challenge at Splitcoaststampers.com which goes live tonight. My inspiration for this card comes from this picture.
For my background I stamped the egg background from Picket Fence Studio, on Hammermill 100lb card stock and heat embossed using Lawn Fawn white embossing powder.

I then sponged on the Salvaged Patina Oxide ink over the embossed background. For the matting I cut another piece of Hammermill card stock, and sponged on Spiced Marmalade.
To the Spiced Marmalade card I attached the Salvaged Patina piece, then attached the set to my Neenah card base.

I die cut the pieces I wanted to use for Oliver in white Neenah cardstock using my Gemini Jr., then cut the carrot from Sizzix Tim Holtz Carrot Bunny. I sponged on Carved Pumpkin and Spiced Marmalade to the carrot and glued the two pieces together, then tucked under the hand of the bunny.
In finishing I attached the other pieces to finish the bunny. I coloured his eyes with #100 Copic black marker, and added the white dot with a white pigment ink pen.

The final finish was to stamp the "Hoppy Easter" sentiment using VersaFine Clair ink in Paradise on the right ear of the Bunny, for a bit of fun. It comes from the Lawn Fawn Easter set found in my links.
I then attached the Bunny to my card using foam squares.

Thanks very much for stopping by today. Following are Affiliate links for the products I have used for this card, at no extra cost to you.
