This is "Tulip Bunch".
Another embossing folder by Altenew where I coloured my embossed cardstock image using Copic markers. Despite having said that I always spritz my paper, this time I did not as it caused problems with the finished embossed image.
I cannot explain why it caused problems, other than it could be that the embossing was close to the edges, but then again, I have worked with folders previously where the embossing came close to the edge!
Hence, no idea! So moving on I decided on Hammermill 100lb cardstock for the Copic colouring. My card is 5.5 square, and the cardbase is Neenah Solar Crest 110lb.
But I moved on, and coloured using Copic markers. The colours I used are B12, B02, B16; Y02, Y04, Y08; R05, R08, R14; RV13, RV14, RV09; V01, V05, V06; and the greens are YG05, YG07, YG09. I also used RV25 to colour the word "bloom".
For this card I decided I would go around the edge of the tulips with Copic #B000. It suits this folder to have the edging.
I then attached the card panel to my Neenah card base. I die cut the word "bloom" 3 times, and glued them together using Glitter Ink, then coloured the top word using Copic Y08 with RV25 over top and attaached to the card.
In my mini Misti I stamped the "Spring" sentiment using VersaFine Clair ink in Glamorous. I attached strip foam to the back of the sentment and attached it above the "bloom".
I did consider some bling, but decided against it as it would be lost anyway, as well as too much, and I am happy with the results as it is.
