Introducing "Your Time".
This card I made for the Inspiration Challenge at Splitcoaststampers.com. We are visiting The Refab Diaries, where I found this picture for inspiration.
First I emboss a piece of cardstock, I use Neenah, which I have spritzed both sides of to relax the paper. I then run it through my Gemini Jr. and remove the paper to let air dry.
I am using a Honey Bee embossing folder called Spring Medley, which I coloured using Copic markers in various colours representing spring.
Once completed I cut the piece down to 5.0 x 3.75". I felt it would be overwhelming if I left it at 5.5 x 4.25. I matted with black cardstock by Gina K Design, and attached to a Neenah card base.
In my mini Misti I stamped the sentiment using VersaFine Clair ink in Fantasia and attached to the card nearing the bottom right using foam strips.
I die cut the bloom using black cardstock for the bottom piece, then cut it again from Spellbinders Glitter Foam Sheets in the white.
I first attached the black "bloom" to my card using Art Glitter glue. I then coloured the die cut foam "pink" with a Copic marker, then attached using the Art Glitter glue again to the card.
This finished my card.
It is a fair amount of work colouring this one due to all the colours, and I did make some mistakes, but that is okay and I did enjoy it.
I hope you have enjoyed this card as well, and thank you for visiting.

Kia, did you color this after embossing the paper or did you color the inside of the EF? I never have good luck coloring the inside the EF. It's so cheery with all those bright colors. Very pretty.
