This is "Beautiful Day".
It is unusual for me to colour in pastel colours, but I felt this background needed some pastel to work as I intended, hence I kept all my colouring light.
To start this card I inked up the embossing folder that came with my new "Empress" machine, which is the folder you see in the photographs.
It feels so delicate and I immediately thought of pinks. So I added Kitsch Flamingo to the inside of the folder, along with my piece of cardstock, spritzed lightly and ran it through the "Empress". Sounds so La di dah! lol
In my original Misti I stamped the image by Gina K Designs using Memento Ink in Tuxedo Black and die cut it with the coordinating die.
I then proceeded to colour using copic markers as follows: flowers RV02, RV13, RV23; Y13, Y06, and for the leaves G13 and G43.
I did not like the white from the background of the stamped image, so I coloured it in using copci RV00, which matches almost perfectly with the embossing folder colour.
I then attached the flowers to the card using large foam squares, and glued on the sentiment, from Creative Expressions Hello Spring wordies.
To finish this card I added a few gems from Pinkfresh.
Thanks so much for your visit. I hope you have enjoyed this card as much as I enjoyed making it.
See you next time.
