Welcome to Christmas in July blog hop with Scrap'n Stamp. This hop is different from our previous hops as today we have many well known makers joining us, so check it out and come join us. I have provided links below.
The winner of the $50.00 gift certificate will be chosen from those who leave comments along the way on the makers blogs.
The winner of the gift certificate will be announced on the Scrap'n Stamp blog on July 23, 2023.
And be sure to watch for the sales that will pop up throughout the month.
Moving on to my card for today. I opted to use an old favourite of mine by My Favorite Things called Jingle All The Way. Every year My Favorite Things brings back the stamp and die set, and that makes me so happy.
Today I coloured using Copic markers, being E40, E41, E42 and E43 for skin, Santa Suit R27, R29 and R46, including the Santa I made for the inside of the card. Presents are R05, R08 and RV14; Tree Pot is 100; Reindeer is E33, E34, E35, E37 and E42; Trees YG06, YG07, YG09; Tree Stalk E59; Beard C1 and C3 and Cheeks R21.
The background is done using Sizzix 3-D Texture Impression Winter Foliage. I applied the ink from my distress oxide ink in Twisted Citron directly to the embossing folder and spritzed lightly for colour.
I did a second one for the inside of my card, and also coloured the berries on both pieces using Copic marker R46.
As I do not have the dies that coordinate with the set I cut my images using my Scan'n Cut machine. To the pieces I added highlights using my white gel pen, and with the red gel pen I added decorations to the trees and silver gel pen to the stars on the top of the trees.
On the present I added dots with the white gel pen.
I attached the backgrounds to my card base and inside my card using Art Glitter glue. I then attached the images using foam squares, and glue for the inside of the card.
Thank you for joining me today. Following is a list of those participating in the hop today. I have noted where you are in the hop order. Next up is Laurie Case
