This is "Floral Gatefold".
We are celebrating all week long over at Splitcoaststampers.com with Dare to Get Dirty. A week full of fun challenges put on by the Dirty Girl Alumni.
The card design is that of a Gatefold card, which I have done using Neenah cardstock. I then embossed extra Neenah cardstock using Altenew's Flower Bed embossing folder.
I added the embossed pieces to the gatefold on the front of the card, and inside the card on the full piece of the card back.
To keep the card clean and simple, other than the embossing, I did not add any other colour to the embossed folder pieces.
I then stamped and die cut two of the single flowers from the Spring Bouquet stamp and die set and proceeded to colour using copic markers.
The copic colours I used are: flowers YR18; YR15, YR12; leaves G03 and G02; the yellow flower is Y06 and Y04.
Once I was finished with the colouring I added the floral image to the right gatefold first gluing in place with Art Glitter glue, then lining up the other floral and attaching it with the same glue.
When closed it looks as though there is only one floral, so when you open the card there is the surprise of the second floral.
