Furever Friends

This is "Furever Friends."

This card I have made for the Inspiration Challenge at Splitcoaststampers.com. Stacy is our hostess today and she has picked Carole Jarvis as our site to visit.

My inspiration came from this scene, which I think is so cute, and as it happened I had stamps that would work for this.

I am using stamps from the set of Furever Friends by Colorado Craft Company, along with Penny Black's Pansy Gaze (discontinued).

To colour I used Copic markers, colouring the flowers to match the "Nature Orange" (Viola × wittrockiana 'Nature Orange') Pansy. Below are the colours I used to colour.

Using a Neenah card base I cut my panel to 3.75x5", then cut a piece of matting 1/8th inch larger. I did this for the inside of the card as well.

I attached the matting to the panel then affixed it to the card base using Glitter Glue, following the same application for the inside of the card as well.

I coloured the kittens different colours just for some interest and die cut them using the coordinating die, then propped them up on the card front using foam squares.

Using Memento ink in Rich Cocoa I stamped the sentiment in my mini Misti, then die cut using the coordinating die set.

I really like how it turned out, and I hope you do as well.
