Happy Birthday Balloons

 

Meet "Happy Birthday Balloons".

It is Friday and that means it is time for the Inspiration Challenge at Splitcoaststampers.com. I am hosting today's challenge and have picked Bloons for this week's challenge.

The inspiration for my card came from this balloon display. I did not use all the same colours, but I did use the sun, which I wanted in the centre of my card, using Pinkfresh Ink in Sunshine for colour.

The inks I used on the balloons also from Pinkfresh in Sunshine, Mermaid Cove, Meadow and Slumber. The die is by Honey Bee Dies called Balloon Arch and the sentiment is from Avery Elle.

I wanted a clean look for this card, so kept it very white and kept the balloons with white edges as well. I applied Nuvo Aqua Shimmer Glitter Gloss to the Sun along with the yellow balloons. 

In my mini Misti I stamped the sentiment from Avery Elle using Pinkfresh ink in Slumber and attached it using foam squares. All the balloons are also attached using foam squares.

I forgot to mention that I used Waffle Flower Shader # 1 brushes to apply the colour to the balloons, which made the application very easy.
