Splashin

This is "Splashin".

This card is also party of the Dare to Get Dirty Challenges at Splitcoaststampers which is being hosted by the Dirty Girls, of which I am proud to be a part of.

Part of the challenge is to keep the details secret, so my lips are sealed. There are however, things I can share with you.

The stamp is from Art Impressions and is called Beach Girls. I stamped using VersaFine Clair ink in Nocturne and water coloured using Daniel Smith watercolours.

I should also mention this is the first time I have used a Art Impression stamp. They are smaller than I realized and you have to get a collection going if you want to do larger scenes, but certainly they are fun.

When I was done with the water colouring I die cut the panel using MFT Wonky Rectangles die and attached the panel to a Recollections dark blue card base.

The sentiment is from Stampendous and is called Ocean Sayings which I stamped using VersaFine Clair ink in Blue Belle.

I opted to water colour the water in a Phatalo Green, that beautiful rich colour often found in the Carribean.

I did not add any embellishments preferring to keep the card clean.
