A Colorful Life Design September Release

Grab yourself a "cuppa" and join me to view the cards I made for the latest release by A Colorful Life Design, which is amazing.

I am happy to share with you A Colorful Life Designs September release starting with this beautiful stencil called Berry Vines. It is a stunning stencil in my opinion, which is why I have it as my first card for this month.

I used distress oxide inks in mowed lawn, rustic wilderness using a standard brush, along with Pinkfresh inks in Berrylicious and Candy Apple for the cherries where I used Pinkfresh Studios Blending Brushes.

I added white Sakura pen as a higlighter to the berries, and coloured in the stems with a brown Sharpie marker, which I found easier to control than a copic. To finish I stamped a sentiment from Gina K Designs Sweet Sentiments.
This stencil is called Lined Leaves. Another beautiful stencil which is so fun to colour. For my card I am using a Neenah cardbase along with distress oxide inks in Peacock Feathers, Cracked Pistachio, Twisted Citron and Blueprint Sketch.

I added Leaf glitter drops to the card front and stamped the sentiment by Sugar Peas Design called Autumn Blessings.
This stencil is Fall Leaves. For colour here I used Pinkfresh Inks in Gathered Twigs, Meadow, Soft Lilac, Sunshine, Apricot, Berrylicious and Clementine. I also used a sea sponge to apply the colours which gives me the different look.

I stamped the sentiment from Sugar Peas Design set called Autumn Blessings using VersaFine Clair ink in Nocturne.
This stencil is Sunflower Scroll. Another stencil beauty which I think was asking for a real yellow for the Sunflowers, so I happily obliged using Sunshine Ink from Pinkfresh Inks. I also used Pinkfresh Inks in Gathered Twigs, Doe, and Meadow.

I matted the card with Gina K Design onyx black cardstock, added a few leaf glitter drops and stamped the sentiment using VersaFine Clair ink in Nocturne.
This is not exactly the easiest card to photograph, but I gave it my best shot. (lol) I am using The Eye stencil. The stencil is 6x9, so it fits the front and back of a card perfectly, or the inside if you prefer. I used distress oxide inks in worn lipstick, tumbled glass, cracked pistachio and scattered straw.

The sentiment is from Pinkfresh called Modern Script which I stamped again using VersaFine Clair ink in Nocturne. To add a bit of sparkle I added the green gems.
Meet Layered Potted Bloom. I used several distress oxide ink colours for this stencil, being wilted violet, lilac, mowed lawn, rustic wilderness, hickory smoke, and lost shadow.

The sentiment is from Penny Black called Always Thankful, which I stamped using VersaFine Clair ink in Nocturne.
Here is Thorny Vines. I had some fun with this stencil when making this card. I used Paper Glaze ombre mixed with a bit of opaque matte texture paste for the vines on a piece of Neenah cardstock. The paste is a bit heavy, which is why I used the Neenah.

I applied the paste in a messy fashion, not worrying about how it looked, as that is the exact look I wanted! Make sense? I attached the Neenah piece to a Neenah cardbase using Art glitter glue, which is good and strong.

I then die cut the letters for the word "Prickles" using Concord and 9th Silver Frosted card. I also die cut the letters twice again in the Neenah white to stack under the silver card, and glued it all together. I then glued the word to my card front. I have a friend who has a lot of roses, this card will make total sense to her.
Another one of my favourite is this stencil called "Pumpkin Pouf". Just the name makes it super fun. I again used distress oxide inks on a Neenah cardbase in mowed lawn, rustic wilderness, carved pumpkin, and ripe persimmon.

The sentiment is from Penny Black's Always Thankful stamp set using VersaFine Clair ink in Green Oasis, completing with a few gems.

Here are Interactive Drippy Ghosts which are so fun. For my background I am using a Taylored Expresssions Oreo cardbase, which I stenciled on using Pigment ink by Ranger. I used the pigment ink around the edges of the top piece before attaching it to a Gina K Design black onyx cardbase.

The die sentiment is by Say It With Stamps, which I die cut using 3 layers of Neenah cardbase with applied grunge.

I have linked this card to Two Old Bats Halloween Challenge

Another great stencil called Campfire. I had fun with the colours for this stencil, using Fossilized Amber, Crackling Campfire, and Walnut Stain. I also used Ranger Pigment Ink for the marshmellows.

To finish up I added the sentiment from A Colorful Life Designs Smore's Stamp set using VersaFine Clair ink in Nocturne.
This stencil is called Smores in case you did not guess. I used distress oxide colours in Brushed Corduroy, Tea Dye and Walnut Stain. For the marshmellow I used Snowdrop Paper Glaze.

The sentiment is by A Colorful Life Design called Smores.
Here we are with my last card for this release. Phew! This is Layered Candy Corn which is a 3 part stencil - what could be easier. I used Mustard Seed, Carved Pumpkin along with Paper Glaze.

I added enamel dots using the colours from the card, and stamped the sentiment using VersaFine Clair ink in Summertime and attached it to the card front using foam squares.

I do hope you have enjoyed these cards. They sure were fun to make. Don't forget to use my discount code when you purchase at A Colorful Life Design for a 10% discount on your order - use use KiaFan10.
