Colourful Autumn

Meet Colourful Autumn.

Sitting on my desktop the other day was this new embossing folder by Gina K Designs, along with this stencil from Tim Holtz called Brush Mark which has been hanging around for awhile now.
The embossing folder is called Falling Leaves. When having a look at the stencil I noticed when I turned it upside down it could pass for leaf shapes. So I went with that, and coloured up the stencil using distress oxide inks.

My cardstock is Neenah 110lb card, and the top panel is 100lb Hammermill. The distress oxide inks I used are barn door, carved pumpkin, twisted citron, cracked pistachio and salvaged patina.
Before applying the stenciling I tore the bottom of the Hammermill cardstock. For the embossing I turned the embossed cardstock pieces to the back of the embossing, which I liked much better for displaying on the card front and the one inside the card as well.

I glued the embossed pieces to my card base using Art Glitter glue, then attached the stenciled panel to my card front using foam tape.
I die cut 3 pieces of the "thankful" sentiment and glued them together using the Art Glitter glue, then glued them in place on the card front. I then applied a layer of Midas Touch shimmering pen.
(I am sorry I don't have the name of this die or who manufactured it)

To finish up I attached Pinkfresh Glitter Drops in Leaf to my card front.

I wish the Midas Touch showed up better in the picture, it is so pretty in real life.

Thank you for your visit today. I hope you have enjoyed this card.

See you next time.
