Introducing Grateful Leaves.
I am continuing my fall card making as I need to get these in the mail soon. Today I am using dies by Sissix/Tim Holtz and SugarPea Designs.
The leaves are from the set Fall Foliage and the wreath is from Funky Wreath. The sentiment is by SugarPea Designs found here.
I continue to use the papers from Gina K Designs paper pack called Autumn Splendor, which I have used for my background. I cannot get enough of these papers, each one is perfection plus!
My card base is also by Gina K Design called Fresh Asparagus. I then cut the pieces for the background.
To die cut the wreath I coloured a piece of Spellbinders Glitter foam sheets using Copic markers in G82 and YG67 and let dry, which does take awhile.
I then die cut the wreath from Neenah cardstock and coloured it with the same colours. Once all was dry I glued the two together using Art Glitter glue and glued the wreath in place on my card front.
To colour the leaves I opted for distress oxide put down on my glass top and spritzed with water. I then dragged the leaves through each of the colours until I was happy with the look.
The colours I used are scattered straw, mustard seed, fossilized amber, spiced marmalade and walnut stain. Once I was happy with the look I dried the leaves with my heat gun and glued them in place.
To finish I die cut the sentiment using Neenah cardstock x 3 and dragged those through the colours as well, then glued it in place again using Art Glitter glue.
I am very happy with the way my card turned out and I hope you enjoy it as well.
Thank you for visiting today.
See you next time.
