Introducing "Hello Fall Leaves".
For this card I am using Altenew's Leaf Mix dies cut using Fabriano Hot Press watercolour paper. For colour I used my mini cubes laying down colour on my glass mat and spritzing with water, then dragging the leaf through the mixture and setting aside to dry.
There were a few leaves that I wanted much darker than the colours appeared once dry, so a spritzed these again, then pounced my mini cube over top, which added a "happy" amount of colour.
As the leaves were drying I cut the background papers for the outside and inside of the card. My card base is cut from Gina K Design Tranquil Teal.
I wanted leaves on the outside panel, so I looked through my stamp sets and came upon this Pinkfresh Detailed Leaf, which I used to make this card and this card.
I made a puddle of distress ink using Salvaged Patina and dragged the leaf through the ink to coat, then applied the leaf to my card panel, which I did 3 times. On the inside I did a few, along with splatters.
I attached the panel to my card front using Art Glitter glue, and attached the inside panel as well. Using the die cut leaves I started to play with an arrangement for my card front.
I kept playing until I was happy with the look of the arrangement, then glued the leaves in place. In my original Misti I placed my card and stamped the sentiment which is from SugarPea Designs using VersaFine Clair ink in Warm Breeze.
To finish up I added Pinkfresh Glitter Drops in different colours around the card.
I hope you enjoy today's card and thank you for visiting my blog.
See you next time.
