This painting I have done for Watercolour Wednesday at Splitcoaststampers.com. I have to say, there are times with the watercolour challenges when I do not want to upload what I have painted, and this is one of those times.
My ducks hardly look like ducks in my humble opinion - that is what I get for drawing and not tracing an image. I cannot draw worth a darn!
Alas, all one can do is try better next time. The challenge today is not the ducks, thankfully! The challenge is painting the water with movement. I used the darkest blue colour along with a white Posca Pen to paint the water using Arches cold press watercolour paper.
I added the greenery via the vines and land on the right side. I also added in different colours to the water which add further movement and interest.
At least this was fun to paint, but practicing painting ducks in now on my "things to do" list for watercolour. Get prepared for next time this comes up.
I do thank you for your visit.
See you next time.
