Hello Fall

 

Meet "Hello Fall".

I made this card for Watercolour Wednesday at Splitcoaststampers.com. Our hostess this week is Linda and she has picked this fun tutorial for us this week.

For my background I am using Roman Szmal watercolours on Fabriano Hot Press watercolour paper. My background is done with two paint colours, being Benzymidazole Orange and Cadmium Yellow Pale.

To the back of my leaf I painted with Manganese Brown before laying it down face up and covering with a piece of paper to transfer the colour. When all was dry I added splatters of Cadmium Red then attached the piece to A Gina K Design Dark Chocolate.

I stamped the sentiment using VersaFine Clair ink in Pinecone, and I signed my card with my way to big writing! oops

It looks as though there is green watercolour, but green was not used. That colour is coming from swirling my brush in water with a green wash. Yum!
