This is "Merry & Bright".
I am using a relatively new embossing folder from Altenew called "
Vintage Tile" for this card. It is not specifically designed to be a Christmas embossing folder, but I thought I would make it into one.
I am loving the colours the "
french blue" mirror card has taken on, picked up from things in my room. I have little doubt it will do this when around the Christmas lights of its new home too!
I cut the blue cardstock slightly smaller than my 5.5 inch card base and embossed the piece. I then cut a small piece of the
silver mirror cardstock and embossed using the centre flower of the embossing folder.
I then finished the flower by fussy cutting it out. Then using my art glitter glue I attached the blue mirror cardstock to my Neenah cardbase, then glued in place the silver flower piece.
Using the blue mirror and the silver cardstock I die cut the the sentiment dies from each colour. I glued the blue on top of the silver, then glued the sentiment in place. For a bit more glam I added Pinkfresh Ombre Glitter Drops around the card. On the inside I added a piece of royal blue cardstock, then attached a piece of Hammermill cardstock over it to stamp my sentiment.
That about covers everything for this card.I really like how this turned out and I think it works perfectly as a Christmas card. What do you think? I do hope you have enjoyed today's card.
See you next time.
Beautiful cad!
