This is "Noel".
A card that came together quickly which is good as I was running out of time with everything! I had a appointment this morning, so could not do this first thing!
The Noel die is new to me, so of course I wanted to use it straight away, and I knew the Heart deer would look so cute in the "O".
I started by picking a bright red card for my cardbase, which is from Gina K Designs and am using Neenah 110lb cardstock for the white.I first die cut the Immense Noel from the Neenah cardstock. I then cut another one using the red cardstock from Gina K Designs.
I removed the letters from the white cardstock, inluding the paper from around the "E" and ran the remaining through my Spellbinders Platinum machine using Altenew's Garden Harmony embossing folder.Using art glitter glue I attached the embossed panel to my card front. I then inserted the remainder of the letters along with the white piece surrounding the "E".
I did emboss the "E" initially, but did not like the look I think because it was not like the balance of the letters, which hugged the word.
In my mini Misti I stamped the
Spread Love deer using VersaFine Clair ink in Nocturne, then coloured the Heart using Copic marker R29, and 100 (black) Copic for the nose.
I then attached the deer using thin foam squares so it is slightly raised from the rest of the card.
I clearly had fun making this clean and simple card for today, and I hope you enjoy it as well.
Thank you so much for visiting.
See you next time.
I bought that die about a month ago and had a labor intensive card in mind but I have a time crunch. Thanks for the inspiration....you have simplified my stamping life, lol.
