Meet "Candle Delight".
It is time for Watercolour Wednesday at Splitcoaststampers.com. This week we watched a video by Becky Gromlich. I am working on Arches Cold Press watercolour paper with Daniel Smith watercolouors for this card.
This painting took me a few goes, and it still is night right. Alas, we did the best we can do. My flame is large, but I did want that with the actual flame more yellow than it appears in the picture and smaller.
I liked the artists use of the pen to apply the paint, I have one of those pens somewhere!
I did not do a lot of the bokeh, which I could add before I mail out, at which time I should fix the flame too. My we are critical when we see a picture of our work!
