Have a Blue Christmas

 

Meet "Have a Blue Christmas".

Am I remembering correctly - Elvis Presley sang about a blue Christmas? Well, this is a blue Christmas using Prism Blue glitter card. I am so impressed with this glitter cardstock, it is awesome. And NO shedding!

Prism also makes the Gold glitter card which is what I used for the sentiment, which is by Picket Fence Studios called Merry Christmas. 

And the tree die is Sizzix Framelits die set, which seems to be hard to find these days, but I did find it on Amazon and Sizzix also shows it in stock.

For the background I also used a Sizzix embossing folder called Winter Snowflakes, a favourite folder during the winter season.

To put it all together I attached the embossed piece to my Neenah cardbase using Art Glitter glue. I then attached the Christmas tree using foam squares, then the sentiment using thin foam squares.

To the Christmas Tree I added Golden Pearls for even more sparkle. I considered pearl shape that also look like the glitter paper, but did not end up liking that look.

Clearly, there is much out there that can be considered when finishing off you card.

I am happy with how my card turned out, and am loving the glitter papers I received by Prism, which I can strongly recommend.
