This is "Merry and Bright Christmas Ornament".
It is almost Wednesday, so time for Watercolour Wednesday at Splitcoaststampers.com. This week we are watching a video from Julia Lis Art.
I watched the video then went my merry way painting my idea. I am painting on Fabriano Hot Press watercolour paper and am using Winsor Newton and Daniel Smith watercolours for this card along with Gina K. Designs cardstock in Asparagus. The Pines are done using Winsor Newton Sap Green, and Daniel Smith Green Apatite along with Daniel Smith Burnt Umber. I stamped the sentiment using VersaFine Clair ink in Green Oasis.
Once I was done painting the branches, I turned to the ornament picking Daniel Smith Opera Pink. I added a few layers and added a bit of texture to the finished ornament.
I drew in the string and ornament cap using gold metallic watercolour. When all was dry I could not help myself, I had to have some splatters which I did using Dr. Ph Martin's Bleedproof White watercolour.
Thank you for visiting with me.
See you next time.
