Noel

 

Meet "Noel".

I so love Penny Black stamps and have since I started stamping. This sweet stamp is named Feathered Trio and is available at Scrapbook.com in the USA as well as at my favourite Canadian Site, Scrap'nStamp.ca.

I am colouring on Neenah cardstock using Copic markers along with the Copic "0" to give all the extra texture. For the colours going around the ivy and the birds as well as the centre where the Noel is I used B00, B000.

The remaining colours are R27, R29, R46 on the berries, E35 and E29 for bird feathers; R14 and R32 for chest feathers: G02 and G05 on the leaves and C3 on toes.

When I finished with the colouring I attached the panel to a Gina K Designs cardbase in Red Velvet using Art Glitter glue.

I then die cut 3 of the "Noel" sentiments, gluing them together, then to the card front again using Art Glitter glue.

I added further texture using the "0" Copic marker. When I do this I also go back over the texture using the light Copic matching that colour. I hope that makes sense.

I also checked to make sure all my beries had a "white" spot and for those that did not I added one using my white gel pen.
