All is Calm

 

Meet "All is Calm".

My creative self was speaking Clean and Simple to me this morning, and this is what I came up with using some Sizzix dies, Neenah card and paper from my stash with some gems thrown in.

The card is pretty simple, the hardest part is die cutting the pieces and gluing them in the correct places to match up to the indents.

Which of course, is what I did. I used Art Glitter glue to attach the pieces, as I love the thin nib it has for adding the glue in little dots.

The die cut is by Tim Holtz Sizzix and is called Festive Bouquet. There are more pieces to the die than what I used, but I was keeping this card clean and simple.

For the sentiment I used a one that I did when I was preparing things to use for this Christmas, which is from Spellbinders and called Glimmer Hot Foil Christmas Sentiments.

It is a long sentiment, but for this card I cut the sentiment after the comma to help it fit the front of my card.

I then added finishing touches via Pinkfresh Essentials Glitter Drops in Ruby, gluing them in place using Art Glitter glue.

This was a fun card to make for a nice change of pace at a busy time of the year. I hope you have enjoyed it as well.
