It took me awhile to figure that name out. Snowmen is the plural, but it makes it sound like they are all men! Not the case, I have a snow lady in the mix. But alas, they are not "human"!They are alive in my imagination however, and we have had quite the conversation while I built this scene. Mainly about the colours! lol This set is by Art Impressions and called Watercolour Snowmen.
I opted for some lighter colours today, in the light greens, plus red of course! I used a lot of colours and will include a picture of them below. The background designer paper is by Lawn Fawn and is called Let It Shine Starry Skies. I also die cut the snow drift from Hammermill white cardstock.
The sentiment is by Picket Fence Studios and is called "Quotes Christmas", which I stamped using VersaFine Clair ink in Blue Belle. I have used this set a lot this Christmas as the sentiments are perfect for the inside of cards as well as the front. For a bit of sparkle I added sequins by Picket Fence Studios called Sequin Mix Plus - Icicles. The snowflakes are either single reflective pieces or thicker with a few layers, which is quite nice.
I doubled up on the sequins by gluing down a blue flat disk first, then the shaped sequins glued on top of the disk.
Following is a picture of the Copic markers I used for this card. This makes it easier for me to ensure I include all the colours I have used.
