Meet "Let It Snow".
When perusing card video's awhile back I saw a card where the maker used Christmas ribbon in her design with snowmen, and I thought, welI I have Christmas ribbon sitting around waiting to be used.
As much as I would have liked to do snowmen, I did not want to case her card, and thought that the ribbon would look cute on the Reindeer, and this made my card about "Rudolph" instead.
So, I wanted to use red, and added green to my card to make it bright enough to carry the three Reindeer, and give Rudolph his "lead role".
Speaking of the Reindeer, they are by Honey Bee's Woodland Winter Animals collection stamping on Hammermill cardstock. To colour the Reindeer I used Copic markers in E33, E34, E35, E47 and E57, changing the depth of colour on each Reindeer as I went from dark to light.
I fussy cut the Reindeer, then made the Slimline card using Gina K Design cardstock in Jelly Bean Green and Red Hot cardstock along with a Neenah 110lb cardbase.
Once the card was put together I attached the Reindeer using foam rounds. I then cut the ribbons and tied a small knot in each of the ribbons and glued in place using Art Glitter glue.
To add some snow to the card I used Nuvo Silver Crystals, underling the Reindeer and adding falling snow as well.
To finish up I stamped the sentiment using VersaFine Clair ink in Tulip Red.
I really like how this card turned out, I think it is a fun card. I hope you enjoy it as well.
See you next time.
