Meet "Peeks".
So darn cute is this Peeking Reindeer by Hero Arts. I decided to die cut him with Fabriano Hot Press watercolour paper then paint using Daniel Smith watercolours.
For the background I used distress oxide inks and blending brushes in Savaged Patina, Peacock Feathers and Prize Ribbon.
I die cut the Pinkfresh Stitched Scallop rectangle frames from Neenah cardstock, as I wanted them to be sturdy, and inserted the distress oxide inked background inside the bottom frame, then glued it to the Neenah cardbase using Art Glitter glue.
Using foam tape I attached the smaller frame on an angle inside the large frame. I then tucked in the Reindeer at the bottom and brought him out at the top of the frame, attaching him to the distress inked background using foam tape.
In my mini Misti I stamped the sentiment from Lawn Fawn's Little Snow Globe stamp set using VersaFine Clair ink in Twilight.
I applied strips of glue tape to the sentiment and attached it to the reindeer and frame. A lot of dimension on this card, which I do love.
Inside the card I die cut another one of the large frames and attached it, stamping my sentiment inside the frame.
Thank you for visiting today. Sorry this is late in posting - you know, same stuff, different day!
See you next time.
