This is "Thank you note".
I am going to be needing thank you cards so I thought I should get them started with this clean and simple card.
It is a rainy dark day today, which always interferes with my pictures, and is most annoying! lol I stamped the Altenew flowers using Make Art inks in Carnation Red with Sunshine in the flower centres.
The stems were done using Make Art Leaf Green, and on the background I sponged on Shabby Shutters Distress Oxide ink.
My card is Neenah cardstock, as is the die cut stitched scalloped frame. After sponging on the Shabby Shutters I attached the frame to the inked area using foam strips by Scrapbook.com.
As I was pulling the tape off it took some of the card with it on the right bottom side of my card. Darn it all anyway! To rescue my piece I cut up one of the red flowers I had made, to get bits, and have it appear the flowers were dropping from the plant.
After die cutting the flowers and stems I styled them, then attached them inside the frame using foam strips as noted above.
I then added a second row of flowers, which I also styled and glued in place, and to finish up I stamped the Penny Black sentiment on a piece of Hammermill cardstock, which I then cut and attached using foam squares.
I used the other half of the frame on the inside, along with the stamped "Thank you" and another red left over flower.
Thanks so much for visiting today.
See you next time.
Looks fantastic Kia, what a wonderful way to say Thank You x
