Bunny Hill

 

This is "Bunny Hill!". My watercolour for Watercolour Wednesday at Splitcoaststampers.com. Brenda is our hostess this week and she has picked this video.

I watched the video and did consider a different colour for the background, and promptly forgot when I started to watercolour!

I sketched out the bunny, which I found easy enough, except maybe the top part of his face is a bit flatter than it should be. Oh well!

My colours are Phthalo Blue (red shade) and Cerulean Blue, watered down painted on Arches cold press watercolour paper using Escoda brushes.

I did 3 layers for the background and only one using the lighter blue. While the background was still wet I added rock salt, but only got a few blooms, so I also splattered with white paint.
