Dimensional Designs Blog hop

Happy New Year! We are so excited to have you join us for our first Inspireation Hop of 2024. Our Dimensional Designs Inspiration Hop this weekend celebrates the fun of handmade valentine with a 3D twist. Each stop along the way will show you a new design to inspire you as you prepare to make your own thoughtful and unique valentines for friends and loved ones.
As always, we will be giving away a $50.00 Gift Certificate to one lucky person who leaves a comment along the way. Every stop is another change to win, so please share the love with each of the talented makers. We will annount the winnder on the Scrap'n Stamp blog at the end of the month.

Now back to my cards. I have made two cards for this hop.
For this first card I am using dies by Concord and 9th - Love Quilt Top. To colour the letters I used distress oxide inks in Picked Raspberry, Kitsch Flamingo, Lumberjack Plaid and Barn Door.

On the Quilt top cover I used Spun Sugar, and the bottom red is Red Velvet cardstock by Gina K. Designs.
Although it is hard to see, given the background paper, it is also quilted using Sizzix embossing folder called "Quilted" which adds further texture. To finish this card I stamped the sentiment using VersaFine Clair ink in Tulip Red.

The square paper layers are on foam dots, which adds extra dimension.
My second card is by Poppy Stamps and called Graceful Heart Frame. I started this card by first die cutting the Prism Studio Gold Pharaoh foil cardstock, which I am using for the card base.

I stamped the sentiment, which is by Penny Black called Kisses and Wishes, using VersaFine Clair ink in Green Oasis which finishes my card.

Seems easy, but I dare say it was time consuming with all the pieces. But I do love the results very much, and I hope you do as well.

Thank you for joining me today and I hope you left me a message so you can be included in our draw!

Up next on the hop is Tara
